Recognized seven times as a Travel + Leisure World’s Best Tour Operator—including the No. 1 spot in 2022—DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co. operates guided, luxury group bike tours in 48 distinct regions and more than 20 countries across Europe, North America, South America, and Africa.

By Gwen Kidera

DuVine Founder Andy Levine was inspired by a post-college cycling trip to France. In 1996, he realized the first-ever DuVine tour, which he designed and guided for a pair of honeymooners who simply wanted to ride bikes in Burgundy’s vineyards and taste “some wine”—or du vin.

By Gwen Kidera

Today, DuVine continues to offer bike tours inspired by Andy’s original philosophy: to really know a place, you must know its people, its cafés, its villages, and its cuisine. The itinerary for every trip still follows a simple formula, perfected over three decades: bike, eat, drink, sleep. DuVine’s signature, all-inclusive itineraries cater to cyclists of all abilities—e-bikes included—allowing travelers to discover the character of every destination through well-connected local guides, boutique accommodations, small groups of 14 or fewer guests, intimate food and wine experiences, and top-quality bikes from brands like Cannondale, Colnago, and BMC.

And because DuVine’s mission is for everyone to see the world by bike, itineraries are designed to accommodate all types of travelers, from cycling newcomers to avid riders and everyone in between. Trips range from Level 1 (leisurely) to Level 4 (challenging). DuVine is also proud to be the first and only 100% carbon-neutral global bike tour operator.

From the Alps to Zion, DuVine travelers can expect moments both on and off the bike that create meaningful connections across cultures—whether tasting sun-warmed grapes with a winemaker in Tuscany, Italy or sharing a picnic lunch prepared by a local friend at their organic farm in Costa Brava, Spain.
