The icon of Milanese 5-star luxury hospitality with cosmopolitan flair
Park Hyatt Milano is the exclusive, elegant 5-star luxury hotel in the historic heart of Milan, a vibrant, international city and the hub of the Italian business world.
With its entrance on a private street, Via Tommaso Grossi, Park Hyatt Milano has direct access to the famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the symbols of the city along with the Duomo. The hotel is strategically located for both business travelers and guests who want to immerse themselves in the latest fashion and design trends, just a short walk from the Stock Exchange and the financial district, as well as from the prestigious boutiques of the renowned Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga.
Originally designed by architect Ed Tuttle inside a classical 19th-century palazzo, since its opening in 2003 Park Hyatt Milano has been an emblem of contemporary style and sophisticated luxury, blending perfectly into the urban fabric, but with a distinctly international atmosphere.
Epitomizing the hotel’s modern, innovative style, the 106 rooms and suites – completely renovated in 2021 to offer guests an even more exclusive and personalized experience – are refined, elegant spaces that highlight original architectural and design details that are distinctly Milanese.
Always a meeting place for business people, creative professionals, travelers and Milanese, the Park Hyatt Milano’s common areas include the exclusive gourmet restaurant Pellico 3 Milano, with an innovative menu curated by Chef Guido Paternollo; the Mio Lab bar, a favorite spot for the ritual of the Milanese aperitif; and La Cupola, the focal point of life at the hotel, from breakfast to dinner. On the underground level, AQVAM Spa offers innovative professional methods with products by 111Skin that let its guests reconnect with beauty and well-being.
ROOMS AND SUITES
As part of a continuous commitment to offering the best possible service and meeting the diverse needs of guests, the iconic hotel completely renovated all of its rooms and suite in 2021. The rooms are designed to ensure a sense of maximum comfort and ease. Inspired by Milanese style, the architects developed a palette of color tones that reflect the nuances of the city, in particular the Duomo of Milan. Floors in light oak and vanilla-toned walls bring new light to the spaces. Elements of contemporary design are skillfully combined with more classical lines, creating a perfect synthesis between innovation and tradition. The furniture, all made in Italy and created especially Park Hyatt Milano, is enhanced with fine handcrafted details.
The attention to aesthetics continues in the bathroom space: the washbasin cabinets are inspired by a bench found on the original property designed by Ed Tuttle, while a leather vanity with a retractable mirror is cleverly set in the window area. An oval freestanding tub lends a further note of character. The bathroom reflects the discreet luxury that is the hotel’s trademark, and is equally as large as the room itself, with ample shelving and counter space, natural light, roomy closets and a safe. The overall result is one of timeless charm and an unparalleled sense of warmth and well-being.
Each room has a sitting area, satellite TV and high-speed Internet access.
Park Hyatt Milano has 25 splendid suites of varying sizes and categories. Each suite has its own unique, elegant and sophisticated style, with design pieces and materials made exclusively for the hotel, as well as important works of art.
LA CUPOLA LOBBY LOUNGE
La Cupola at the Park Hyatt Milano is the heart of the hotel. Inside the main entrance, guests are treated to a welcoming lounge illuminated by natural light from the glass cupola overhead, an imposing, nine-meter-high structure that imparts an immediate sense of bright warmth and intimate atmosphere. In keeping with the needs of an international, local and business clientele, La Cupola presents a wide variety of dining selections, from Breakfast starting at 7 a.m., where guests can enjoy the art of delectable pastries in particular, to the All Day Dining menu available until 11 p.m., with fresh, modern choices ranging from classics of Italian cuisine to international dishes. A tasteful, serene atmosphere and the special play of light lend a new dimension to the majestic cupola, which is now a Cocktail Lounge where patrons can sip drinks, as well as a privileged window beneath the stars in the heart of Milan.
MIO LAB & DEHORS
Nestled in the historic center of Milan facing onto Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Mio Lab is one of the best-known cocktail bars in the city, famed for the art and tradition of Mixology as well as its atmosphere. Mio Lab exudes effervescence to the rhythm of the gestures of expert barmen, equally well-versed in the perfect execution of the great classics as in the imaginative variation of the bar’s signature cocktails. From aperitif to after dinner drinks, Mio Lab guests can enjoy a wide range of special spirits. A selection of cocktail nibbles specially created for the bar is available to accompany drinks from 5 p.m. to midnight. The Dehors commands one of the best views in Milan: Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. From spring until late autumn, this space is the best location in town, overlooking the “Living Room of Milan”.
GOURMET RESTAURANT PELLICO 3 MILANO
The gourmet restaurant Pellico 3 Milano at the Park Hyatt Milano, with Chef Guido Paternollo at the helm, is the ideal place for a sensory culinary experience in the warm glow of a welcoming ambiance, in the very heart of Milan, across from the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and just steps away from Teatro alla Scala and Via Montenapoleone. Redesigned in 2022, the restaurant explores and pursues an ideal of lightness and equilibrium between dishes and design. Clean-lined furnishings and décor, in perfect harmony with the cuisine, let guests enjoy an experience that engages all five of the senses, a place where cooking is synonymous with seasonal ingredients, diligently researched and meticulously selected. Flavors reflect the entire Mediterranean basin, not just typically Italian ones, and seasonality is the rule. The result is a restaurant where food is the absolute star. Pellico 3 Milano is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7-10 p.m.
CHEF GUIDO PATERNOLLO
With a degree in engineering from the Milan Polytechnic, Chef Guido Paternollo (born in 1991) transformed his passion for cooking into a vocation and a profession. Starting in 2015 in the kitchen of Michelin-starred chef Enrico Bartolini where he worked for a few years, in 2017 he went to France, the home of the most highly sophisticated cuisine, to work for stars of the caliber of Alain Ducasse and Yannick Alleno. His experiences abroad led Chef Paternollo to acquire a comprehensive understanding of international cuisine. But his dream was to return to Milan and create his own unique and innovative personal gastronomic language, bringing the creative ideas he had developed over the years into the kitchen. Thus, in 2022, he began his adventure with Pellico 3 Milano at the Park Hyatt Milano, an ideal setting to introduce a menu that draws inspiration from diverse places and traditions around the Mediterranean basin, weaving together an array of sophisticated flavors.
